The IR technology company won the prize against very high-level competition : Thales and Diodon Drone Technology.

Paris-Nord Villepinte, November 21st 2017 – To mark its 20th edition, Milipol Paris 2017 awarded the most innovative manufacturers in the homeland security sector. The Awards Ceremony took place today at the Milipol show Conference room. HGH Infrared Systems was awarded the « Drone, Anti-Drone, Robotics » prize for their latest innovation : the « V-LRF option », a visible channel and a Laser-Range Finder that can now be added to their 360° thermal camera, Spynel.

This powerful innovation is the perfect enemy of malicious drones: with Spynel, the users already benefited from the best IR image quality displayed in real-time on the Cyclope Software screen; now, on that same single interface, the users can experience a x30 continuous optical zoom thanks to a full HD Visible Channel, in order to keep an eye on the threat and to recognize the smallest objects. With the Laser Range Finder, accurate distance data is provided while tracking the threat on land, at sea or in the air.
